No notification of continuation
What happens if, prior to the expiry of the validity period of a trade authorisation, the entrepreneur does not notify that they intend to continue carrying on the trade or, where relevant, if the entrepreneur does not apply for an amendment to the decision granting a concession issued for a fixed period.
The trade will be continued
What and how you need to do to extend the validity period of your trade authorisation.
If the trade authorisation for a notifiable trade is limited to a fixed period or if a concession is issued for a fixed period, the trade authorisation terminates by expiry of the period specified. A trade authorisation that is limited to a fixed period does not terminate if, prior to the expiry of the validity period of the trade authorisation, the entrepreneur notifies the trade licensing office that they intend to continue carrying on the trade or if they apply for an amendment to the decision granting a concession issued for a fixed period.
